It's difficult for Australia to break new ground.

The greatest achievements have long been mastered.

We're talking about the unit that has secured seven Cricket World Cups, along with another six T20 titles, and previously enjoyed over three years unbeaten in 50-over cricket.

The alternative records, those for the record chasers, are what's still available for a team that has accomplished all there is.

That it took up to Sunday's success by three wickets over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase over 300, taking back their record for the largest in the women's 50-over format, is, frankly, a testament to the bowling attack that have sported the yellow jersey over five decades.

It's challenging for their batters to possess a record if not afforded the opportunity.

"An opportunity to play and face the challenge with her and simply enjoy myself in that aspect, kind of motivated me," commented Healy.

She reached fifty in 35 pitches - her swiftest at a World Cup - and her century in 84 as she attacked short-pitched balls, striking 21 boundaries and three big hits.

When she was removed the team needed 66 more at one run per ball - a manageable total now needing a comfortable finish.

"To chase 330 is unfamiliar ground so I'm happy we have the confidence to accomplish that now," stated Healy further.

"Hopefully we don't have to do it again but, if necessary, we believe we can succeed."

Those words will be the last Australia's opponents at this championship want to hear.

In recent days a sense they will succeed regardless of circumstances has only strengthened - this triumph succeeding victory over Pakistan by 107-run victory despite sitting at 76-7 at one stage.

Subsequently Australia meet Bangladesh before a match against longtime competitors England in Indore in a week and a half, by which point a semi-final berth may probably be guaranteed.
